IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Every Brilliant Thing - Now Coming May 2026

We’re excited to announce that Every Brilliant Thing will now take the stage May 22–24, 2026, during Mental Health Awareness Month. This timing allows us to partner more deeply with Charis Counseling Associates and ensure the show makes the greatest possible impact for our community.

And because we expect strong demand, we’re already holding the option to extend the run into May 29–31!

If you had planned to attend this fall, don’t worry, the show is still happening, and now it will be even more aligned with our mission to bring stories of hope and healing to Vancouver.

The rest of our 2025–26 season continues as planned:

Featuring Chris Murphy as the Narrator

About the show: You’re seven years old. Mom’s in the hospital. Dad says she’s “done something stupid.” So you start a list. A list of everything brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for: Ice cream. Kung fu movies. Staying up past your bedtime. Years pass. The list grows. So does your understanding of life, love, loss—and the complicated beauty of it all.

Told by a single narrator, Every Brilliant Thing is a deeply human, funny journey through childhood, mental health, and the small joys that make life worth living. With heartfelt storytelling and audience interaction woven throughout, it’s a celebration of hope, resilience, and paying attention.
