Vancouver’s Theatre on a Mission.

Radical Generosity. Spiritual Depth. Community Impact.

Hi, we're Ekklesia Theatre.

Hi, we're

Ekklesia Theatre.

Rooted in faith. Powered by community. And

deeply curious about what it means to be human.

Rooted in faith. Powered by community. And deeply curious

about what it means to be human.

We believe theatre can do more than entertain.

It can open hearts. Spark conversations. Stir something eternal.

We partner each show with a local charity doing meaningful work, and we use a pay-it-forward ticket model so no one’s left out.

Join us for our 2025-2026 season:

MORE THAN SPARROWS

This season, we’re celebrating the sacred worth of every person; a reminder from Matthew 10 that you are seen, loved, never an accident, and your life deeply matters. Through three unforgettable plays, we’ll explore the beauty found in life’s quiet moments, the wonder of second chances, and a delightfully chaotic courtroom where common sense takes a coffee break. It’s a season full of heart, hope, and humor, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

💡 Why attend a show? Because you're

not just coming to see amazing live theatre.

💡 Why attend a show?

Because you're not just coming

to see amazing live theatre.

You're doing a whole lot more.

✨ You're supporting the only faith-based theatre for adults in the Portland and Southwest Washington area. (We love you, Journey Theater — keep rockin’ it, kids!)

🎭 You're honoring artists and their God-given talent — because we believe in paying our people, not just promising “great exposure.” (Hot take: exposure doesn’t fill gas tanks.)

🎟️ You're inviting someone else in. Through our Pay-It-Forward ticket model, your purchase helps someone attend for free — No shame. No strings. Just the dignity of being welcomed.

🤝 50% of every ticket goes to support our Community Partners: local nonprofits doing impactful work in Vancouver and across Clark County.

In December 2024, we donated $2,650 to FISH of Vancouver, our Community Partner for Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Vancouver Christmas Show. Every ticket purchased helped fight food insecurity in our city!

Our Big Goals (That We Actually Live By)

Radical Generosity

No one should miss a story because of cost. Your ticket helps someone else see the show with our Pay-It-Forward model.

Real Conversations

Post-show talkbacks, charity connections, and big questions with a faith lens — we keep the conversation going.

Local Impact

Every show partners with a local nonprofit doing good in our community — because the stories we tell are connected to real lives.
